Love Hotels Desert Inn & RV at Boysen Wind River Canyon WY

I showed up early in the morning at 4 am to stay when I'm supposed to check in after 3 pm. At first none was at office but once I rang the bell, the manager Tod showed up in few minutes and accommodated my family for an additional night with a cost lower than my original booking for a night. He and his wife checked on us in the morning to see if we need anything. They even offered yogurt for my kids. They are very best at their hospitality and treated us as their family members. It's an affordable place to stay as an alternate to staying in Thermopolis where rooms are expensive. I'd definitely come back for another visit to Yellowstone National Park.

What a pleasant surprise! This was probably one of the cleanest older motels I've ever stayed in. My wife and I were driving cross-country, and found this gem at the last minute. I'll be honest, from the outside, we didn't expect much, but the girl was nice enough at check-in, and the room was in good repair, and spacious! Things were really clean, the water pressure was good, the bed was comfy, and the guy in the morning was quite friendly at checkout. Definitely recommend staying there.

Very kind and friendly couple running the motel. Hard working. Good people! Rooms nicely renovated. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. A little cleaner bathroom would up it to a 5 star. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, but needed a quick overnight stay. Great location off the highway. Happy to have the option in that location as there were no other places to stay. Thank you!

Clean!! safe, quiet, comfortable rooms.all bedding was fresh and beds comfortable. Tod, at the front desk is very kind and accommodating. The hotel is in progress of renovations. Look beyond this and it's a great place to stay. If we are in need of a room again in Shoshone, WY or in the vicinity we will stay again. Thank you again for the gracious hospitality.

We checked in at 9:20 pm. The guy managing the hotel was more than courteous. He was very sociable and helpful. The motel is a place to shower n sleep. But when you have awesome staff running the show, we'll be back next hunting season. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. Thank You to the gentleman managing tonight. Due to getting a new credit card, we didn't receive it in time, so the credit card company did a virtual card for booking a hotel/motel online. I didn't have the actual card with me due to leaving in September hunting. He was very understanding. This meant a lot. We went from Wisconsin to Wyoming hunting with 10 kids, parted ways, they returned home and we went to Idaho to hunt. We are returning to Wyoming with hope of filling a tag. A warm bed, hot shower meant everything...and the man managing tonight was awesome. PS, yo all hunters. He's American and speaks English.

I have been staying here for over a week and plan on staying for another. I am here working a construction job and it is convenient for me to stay here. The accomodations are inviting. The rooms are clean and quiet. You can not beat it for the price. Now I have stayed at better places but paid more. I have also stayed at worse places and payed more. I'm happy with it! I have recommended it to my coworkers.

Stopped in Shoshoni on a cross country bicycle tour looking for accommodations for the night. When I pulled up to the motel there was a For Sale and No Vacancy sign out front, but only 2 cars in the parking lot. The office door was locked but I rang the bell and a woman opened the door. She was very pleasant and friendly and when I inquired about a room she said one was available. I was skeptical of what the condition would be but having no other option I took it. Turned out that despite needing serious updating, it was comfortable, clean, had a microwave, fridge AC, and WiFi. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This was more than your average hotel stay, this was an experience my family will never forget. Watching my 5 year old son bond every morning with the housekeepers and the manager was very heartwarming to see. He even brought out some kids yogurt from his own supply for louie during breakfast. Todd went out of his way on more than one occassion to help us through our difficult times.
